We are seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have: prior experience in HVAC or a related industry, a proven track record of exceeding performance goals, strong technical aptitude, a reliable vehicle for customer visits, and a strong alignment with Raven Supply’s Core Values:

Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of sales opportunities within our target markets: industrial, process, manufacturing, commercial, district energy, healthcare, and institutional sectors.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with Consultants, Mechanical Contractors, Owners/End Users, Commercial/Industrial Services, and Public Sector clients.
- Provide technical consultations, propose solutions, and prepare detailed quotations using Zoho CRM and QuickBooks.
- Deliver presentations and conduct product demonstrations to consultants and clients.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and service teams to deliver fully integrated solutions.
- Achieve or exceed the annual sales quota of $2,000,000.00
- Provide support and guidance to the estimating team, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and performance management to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure the Inside Sales Team meets or exceeds customer service expectations.
- Assist in setting short- and long-term goals for the department.
Non-Core Responsibilities
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and technical seminars to promote brand visibility.
- Contribute feedback to marketing efforts to align campaigns with market needs.
- Provide market intelligence on competitive activities and emerging trends.
- Occasionally assist with technical training sessions for internal teams.
- Research products and recommend solutions from Raven’s exclusive product lines.
- Assist with providing customers accurate quotations as backup support when needed.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Manage and update activities in Zoho CRM.
- Attend site visits, technical meetings, and walkthroughs.
- Prepare technical documentation and liaise with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and manage the closing of deals.
- Coordinate order fulfillment with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
Hard Skills
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Systems, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 3+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in industrial or mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with Zoho CRM and QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydronic heating, steam systems, and venting equipment.
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel within BC & the Yukon.

Salary and Benefits
Industry Standard Salary:
- Base Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 (depending on experience)
- Commissions: Uncapped commission structure, with realistic OTE (On Target Earnings) of $140,000 – $160,000 total annually (Base Salary + Potential commission earnings).
