Grundfos PACO KP: Horizontal Split-Case (Double-Suction) Pump

The Grundfos PACO KP is a single-stage, between-bearings, horizontal split-case centrifugal pump engineered for high-flow, high-reliability HVAC and industrial water duties. Its axially split casing and double-suction hydraulics deliver smooth, efficient operation with low vibration and easy service access ideal for chilled and condenser water, district energy, water distribution, and central plant heating/cooling.

• High efficiency, stable hydraulics – A double-volute design reduces radial loads, internal recirculation, and turbulence for longer life and better wire-to-water efficiency. Francis-vane impellers further cut vibration and noise.

• Serviceability by design – The axially split upper casing lifts off, giving top access to wear rings, impeller, bearings, and seal without disturbing motor or pipework cutting outage time and maintenance cost. Independent bearing housings and a 360° machined register fit help maintain alignment and limit shaft deflection.
